We're thrilled to welcome Steve Pietrowski and Dave Mathis to the Vantage Financial team! Steve joins us as a Collections & Credit Specialist, bringing a wealth of expertise in credit operations and collections management. His dedication to optimizing collections and enhancing our credit processes will be invaluable as we continue to grow.
Additionally, Dave Mathis has joined our sales team as a Managing Director. Dave's industry experience and sales acumen will help to drive Vantage Financial’s continued success. Dave’s commitment to fostering long-term client and partner relationships along with his focus on the healthcare industry aligns perfectly with our mission and goals. Together, Steve and Dave will greatly contribute to our growth and success.

Is there a career achievement that you are most proud of?

"A career achievement I am most proud of it getting the healthcare market up and running at my previous company. I was one of two people who got it off the ground and grew it into a large part of our business and our clientele."- Dave Mathis
What are you most excited about in this new role?
"Working with a lot of people that I knew and respected from a previous company. I'm looking forward to supporting the people and the company goals in this role." - Steve Pietrowski

What made you choose the career path that you did?
"I started working for TCF Corporation in Minneapolis in 1997 and by 1999 a friend had asked if I wanted to get into leasing. He was working at Winthrop Resources, a subsidiary of TCF. I started at Winthrop and never looked back. The people and the team is what made going to work fun. I stayed with Winthrop due to the people until spring of 2022." - Steve Pietrowski
"The opportunity actually came up through a friend, he thought I would be the right fit for a sales role at an equipment finance company, Winthrop Resources, and he was right! 22 years later and I still love what I do. I also was a finance major in college and enjoy the numbers and math part of our job." - Dave Mathis
What do you do outside of work to unwind?
"In my free time I like to spend it on the golf course impersonating a golfer or the cabin on the weekends with the kids and grandkids. I spend time in the winters watching MN Gopher Hockey." - Steve Pietrowski
"I love to travel! Traveling and spending time with family, along with watching and playing sports. I especially enjoy my time at our lake house in Michigan." - Dave Mathis
