Q&A with Jake Schwamb

We’re excited to welcome Jake Schwamb to the Vantage Financial sales team as a Managing Director! Jake brings over 25 years of sales experience, including 17 years in the leasing industry coming from Winthrop/Huntington Bank Technology Finance. Jake will be focusing on supporting clients and partners in the healthcare market as Vantage continues to expand our presence in this sector. His deep expertise, proven track record, and passion for building strong client relationships make him a tremendous addition to the team.

How did you come about the equipment leasing industry?

"I was originally introduced to leasing by a former sales relationship I had in the marketplace. After meeting some of the leadership and sales force I was impressed by the caliber of reps, the breadth of the market opportunity and the ability to build a 'franchise' in a market to succeed."

What are you most excited about in this new role?

"I'm excited for a more entrepreneurial platform to enable me to better address the needs of clients and business partners, and being a part of a growing culture again."

Is there a career achievement that you are most proud of?

"I'm proud that over a long career in the leasing business, 17 years, I have been a consistent performer. I have developed lasting relationships in the marketplace and continue to embrace a never-ending challenge to grind."

What is something we wouldn't know about you from your LinkedIn profile?

"I'm an avid golfer, I have a sophomore in college at the University of Minnesota, and I can breakdance!"
