Q&A with Ariel Waldoch

We're thrilled to welcome Ariel Waldoch to the Vantage Financial team as our Vice President of Operations! Ariel brings extensive experience in operational leadership and process optimization. Her strategic mindset and commitment to excellence will contribute greatly to driving innovation and success at Vantage.

What has your career journey looked like in the equipment leasing industry?

"I began my career at TCF Bank in 2010 working as a teller and then later being promoted to Supervisor in 2011. In 2013, I transitioned to Winthrop Resources Corporation, a leasing company owned by TCF Bank, where I started as an Account Manager and was later promoted to Supervisor in 2015. When TCF/Winthrop was acquired by Huntington Bank at the end of 2020, I decided to join Honour Capital, a startup equipment finance company. I was with Honour Capital from January 2021 to January 2025, beginning as a Client Operations Manager and advancing to Director of Operations in 2024."

What are you most excited about in this new role?

"I am deeply passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. I find great fulfillment in understanding client needs and creating solutions that foster long-term relationships. At Vantage, I am particularly excited about the opportunity to collaborate across all departments and be involved in every step of the client journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience at every touchpoint."

Is there a career achievement that you are most proud of?

"One of the career achievements I’m most proud of is my progression at Honour Capital, where I helped build and refine the company’s operations from the ground up. When I joined in 2021 as a Client Operations Manager, it was a startup with evolving processes. I took the initiative to streamline operations, enhance the client experience, and implement efficient workflows. As a result, I was promoted to Director of Operations in 2024. Being part of a growing company, shaping its operational foundation, and seeing the tangible impact of my work on both internal efficiencies, and client satisfaction, was incredibly rewarding. It reinforced my passion for creating seamless processes that drive exceptional client experiences."

What is something we wouldn't know about you from your LinkedIn profile?

"Something you wouldn’t know from my LinkedIn profile is that I’m originally from Wisconsin - Go Packers! I’m also a proud wife and mother of two boys. Outside of work, I love traveling and spending time watching my boys compete in soccer, baseball, and motocross. Their dedication and passion for their sports inspire me every day."
